Festival homeopathy Festivals are something that are part of summer for me. Midsummer festivals especially.

As humans we are naturally connected to the sun and the seasons and it’s lovely to celebrate that.

Gathering in a special place, dressing up and enjoying good food and drink, with music, dancing, and bonfires.

These are all traditions that go back to ancient times.

My week at Glastonbury Festival gave me a chance to step back from everyday life, and while it is nearly a week since I came home, it’s still with me. This morning I’m taking some time to reflect, and I have some thoughts I want to share with you.

Hormone wisdom in a nutshell

It was my first ever Hormone Wisdom workshop this week, and it was a lot of fun.

From 10 years in homeopathy practice, I know there are a surprising number of ways that hormonal imbalance can show up for your average woman.

Painful periods is one.

Heavy periods is another.

Early menopause is something else.

That’s before you even get into the bigger issues of PCOS and fertility, and I can’t remember the last time I met a woman who didn’t have some form of PMS.

A bed-time ritual | 7 simple things that help restful sleep

Sleep, insomnia, sleep routines, homeopathy, natural solutions

All my days are pretty full-on. I’m sure yours are too. When I have a good sleep I feel ready for my day. 

As part of my new year goal to make more time for myself, I’ve been inspired to re-work my evening routine.

My bed-time ritual is something I really enjoy. When I make a small space for myself in the evening, I know I feel so much more relaxed and even peaceful.

Quiet time helps me prepare for sleep.

The key for me is to have a sequence of things I do before bed and to make it a routine.
